Centre for G.I.Bleed and Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Diseases TNMSC   is maintaining  the G.I. Bleed Centre at Government Stanley Hospital at Chennai.  This center is equipped with trained GastroEntrologists,  i.e. both surgical, medical and supported by  Blood Transfusion  department, Anesthetists,   Internists and other specialists and   offer 24 Hours Critical care for patients with G.I. Bleeding and Hepato Pancreatic diseases. This center functions as a tertiary center for patients referred from other hospital  and centres. This center has been given the prestigious ISO-9002 award by the TUV - Germany, having recognized its quality care in the field. This center is the first of its kind in getting such a award for Government Hospitals in the country. This center has treated patients with equality from poor patients to VIPs and VVIPs.
