ORDER:

Sanction is accorded for an expenditure not exceeding Rs.24.00 lakhs (Rupees Twenty-four lakhs only), under Part-II Scheme for 2001-2002 as non-recurring expenditure towards the purchase of the following equipments for Establishing a Tissue Culture Laboratory at Anti-Rabies Vaccine Section of King Institute of Preventive Medicine, Guindy, for the production of Tissue Culture Anti-Rabies Vaccine as a Pilot Project:-

1)?? Cryogenic Vessel;
2)?? Refrigerated Centrifuge;
3)?? Flourescent Microscope;
4)?? Inverted Microscope;
5)?? Milli Q Water Purification System;
6)?? Deep Freeze Cabinet;
7)?? Laminar Flow bench vertical type;
8)?? Laminar Flow Hood Negative pressure with Virus Burn-out Unit;
9)?? Refrigerator;
10) Binocular Research Microscope;
11) Membrane Filter Holders and NCM Pads;
12) Analytical Balance;
13) Magnetic Stirrer;
14) Ultra-Sonic Stirrer;? and
15) Pipette Washer.

2) The expenditure shall be debited to, "2210.Medical and Public Health - 06.Public Health - 107.Public Health Laboratories - Schemes in the Nineth Five Year Plan - II.State Plan - JB.Bacteriological Laboratories at King Institute of Preventive Medicine, Guindy, - 19.Machinery and Equipments - 1.Purchase." (D.P.Code: 2210.06.107-JB-1919).

3) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O. No. 61760 / Health.I / 2001-1, dated 12.9.2001.
