ORDER:

In the Government Order read above, Sanction was accorded for the creation of three Zonal Offices under the control of Directorate of Drugs Control at Thiruvellore, Vellore and Virudhunagar.? These Zonal Offices has now started functioning.? The Director of Drugs Control has sent proposal for provision of Telephone facilities to the above Zonal Offices under Part-II Scheme 2001-2002 at a total cost of 0.54 lakhs.

1) The Government have accepted the above proposal and they accord sanction for an expenditure of not exceeding Rs.0.54 lakhs (Rupees Fifty-four thousand only) (i.e., Rupees Six thousand : Recurring; and Rupees Forty-eight thousand : Non-Recurring) towards the provision of Telephone facilities to the newly created Zonal Offices at Thiruvellore, Vellore and Virudhunagar.

2) The expenditure shall be debited to, "2210.Medical and Public Health - 06.Public Health - 104.Drugs Control -Schemes in the Nineth Five Year Plan - II.State Plan - JB. State Drugs Control Administration - 05.Office Expenses - 1.Telephone Charges." (D.P.Code: 2210.06.104-JB-0514).

3) This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O. No.61757 / Health.1 / 2001-1, dated 12.9.2001.
