Part -II Scheme 2001 2002 - Replacement of equipment/furniture for100 Health Sub Centres - Orders issued.

ORDER:

In Tamil Nadu there are 8682 Health Sub-Centres.? Out of these 8682 Health Sub-Centres? 3388 Health Sub Centres were established prior to 1-4-1981.? The equipment/furniture supplied to these Health Sub-Centres have reached the stage of condemnation.? The Director of Public Health &Preventive Medicine has, therefore, requested the Government to sanction Rs.17.50 lakhs for replacement of equipment/furniture for 100 Health Sub-Centres under Part-II Scheme 2001-2002.

2. The Government accordingly sanction Rs.17.50 lakhs (Rupees seventeen lakhs and fifty thousand only) for replacement of equipment/furniture of 21 items listed out in the Annexure to this order for 100 Health Sub Centres.

3. The expenditure shall be debited to "2210 - Medical and Public Health - 03.? Rural Health Services - Allopathy - 101 Health Sub-Centres. II State Plan? Schemes included in the Ninth Five Year Plan - JD. Panchayat sub centres taken over by Government - 47 Stores and Equipments (DPC. 2210 03 101 JD 4702).

4. The equipments sanctioned in para 2 above shall be purchased following usual tender procedures.

5. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide its U.O. No.61782A/ Health I/2001, dated 3.10.2001.
