MEDICAL RELIEF:

?
The doctor will be present in the Indian Systems of Medicines & Homoeopathy Hospitals, Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy wings in Medical College Hospitals, District Head Quarters Hospitals, Taluk & Non-Taluk Hospitals & Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy Dispensaries to treat the patients from 7.30 AM to 12.00 Noon and 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM and the doctor will also be present in the Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy wings in Primary Health Centres to treat the patients from 8.00 AM to 12.00 Noon and 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

Responsibilities of Patients:
?
1.??????????? Patients should help to keep the hospital neat and clean.? They should not spit, smoke or consume alcohol or other prohibited things within the campus.
2.??????????? Patients should avoid arguing with the medical Officer / Hospital staff or Co-patients Complaints can be recorded in the complaints book or lodged with the medical Officer for redressal.
3.??????????? Repose confidence in the treatment procedures and follow up the treatment advice.
4.??????????? Avoid paying in cash or kind to the doctors and other staff for their services.
5.??????????? Adhere to the visitors time.

??????????? The College run by the Directorate have a high academic standard.? The faculty are experienced.? The students are groomed to develop skills to tap the wealth of traditional knowledge with a scientific temper.? Research activities are undertaken in the Colleges and also in collaboration with institutions like CSIR.

PRODUCTION OF QUALITY DRUGS:
??????????? Every effort is taken to secure genuine herbs and produce drugs as per the classical texts or standard pharmacopoea.

??????????? Steps are being taken to set up a modern drug Testing Laboratory to further improve the quality of the drugs.

??????? Research Wing in Cancer and AIDS in Siddha system of Medicines at Arignar ANNA Government Hospital of Indian Medicine, Chennai.

IN-PATIENT TREATMENT:

??????? All patients admitted in General wards of the Hospital are treated free of cost.
??????? Free diet is provided to all patients in the General Wards.
??????? One attendant pass is given to every admitted patient.
??????? Visitors are allowed only during notified visiting hours.
??????? A staff Nurse is on duty round the clock in the ward.? Admitted patients should contact the Staff Nurse for any Medical assistance they need.

??????? Pathology Lab Week days 7.30 AM to 1.00 PM.
??????? Reports are made available within the shortest possible time which will be specified.

??????????? Charges for various tests are displayed at the Reception of Hospital.? For poor patients, these charges can be waived partially or fully on the recommendation of the treating doctor.

??????????? For every payment properly authenticated official receipt is given at the cash collection.

Miscellaneous Facilities:

??????? Wheel Chairs and Stretchers are available on request at the main reception of the hospital for the facility of patients who are not in position to walk.
??????? Ramp is available near ward.
??????? One Ambulance is available for use, round the clock for transfer of patients to other hospitals.
??????? Public Telephone Booth is available at one location in the hospital entrance area.
??????? Adequate drinking water facilities are available.
