The provision for Health and Family Welfare Department under Demand No.19 for 2006-2007 is Rs.1951.28 crores as detailed below:-

This includes Rs.1865.42 crores on the Revenue Account and Rs.85.86 crores on the Capital Account. The provision on the Revenue Account, works out to 4.68% of the total provision of the Revenue Account of Rs.39860 crores in the Tamil Nadu State Budget for the year 2006-2007.
