The provision for Health and Family Welfare Department under Demand No.19 for 2007-2008 is Rs.2285.88 crores as detailed below:-

This includes Rs.2231.20 crores on the Revenue Account and Rs.54.68 crores on the Capital Account. The provision on the Revenue Account, works out to 5% of the total provision of the Revenue Account of Rs.44633.66 crores in the Tamil Nadu State Budget for the year 2007-2008.
