Themes of Research

  1. Protocols for design, conduct and analysis of scientific studies with respect to ISM.

  2. Clinical research in most important health conditions of 21-st Century (Diabetes, Ischaemic heart disease, Asthma, Cancer, Obesity, Arthritis & HIV/AIDS).

  3. Use of Biochemical, Microbial, Pharmacological and Toxiological studies and Bio-technological tools for establishing the safety and efficacy of ISM drugs.

  4. Scope of Indian herbs and ISM concepts in the emerging field of Nutraceuticals.

  5. Constraints and scope (Legal and statutory conditions) of Indian drug industry in the global market.

  6. Standardisation of ISM drugs for maintaining the quality and uniformity.

  7. Improving the mode of administration of ISM drugs, and paving the way to faster recovery in cases of emergency.

  8. Use of Information technology in documentation, networking and research in ISM.

  9. Evaluation of basic principles of ISM and providing it with system specific diagnostic tools.
