ORDER:
????????? Under the powers delegated in the Government Orders cited, the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services is pleased to approve the panel of??? Medical Officers as mentioned in the Annexure –I for promotion to the post of Senior Civil Surgeon for the panel year 2005-2006.
????????? 2. The Medical Officers for whom particulars are not available are furnished in Annexure –II. If any one of the Medical Officers in the list are continuously in service, he/she has to furnish the entire service particulars to this Directorate, through proper channel (with an advance copy submitted to this office) so as to include his/her name in the approved panel, in the appropriate place (if he/she is otherwise found to be eligible for inclusion).
????????? 3. It is reported that the names of Medical officers appearing in? Annexure III are facing departmental action / Undergoing punishment / disciplinary action contemplated against them. Hence their names are withheld. If any person’s name is included in annexure III and if no disciplinary action has been initiated against them, they may prefer an appeal with their service particulars for inclusion in the panel.
????????? 4. The names of Medical officers, who have resigned, retired or removed from service are furnished in the Annexure IV.? The names of the Medical Officers who have not been promoted in the Feeder Category (i.e) Civil Surgeon in the 1998-1999 panel and 1999 – 2000 panel are furnished in Annexure-V.
????????? 5. Promotion and posting orders will be issued shortly to those Medical officers appearing in Annexure I.
????????? 6. This panel is prepared as per the seniority assigned by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and recorded in the Civil Medical List corrected upto 2005. The Civil Surgeons included in the 1998-99 from Sl.No.1762 and upto Sl.No.1961 & 1999-2000 Panel upto Sl.No.56 have been examined for inclusion or otherwise in this 2005-06 Senior Civil Surgeon panel. All the medical officers who had been promoted earlier and relinquished and for whom the period of relinquishment is over as on the crucial date of this panel. i.e 15.03.2005, have been included in the panel. Medical Officers for whom disciplinary action has been finalized as on the crucial date have also been included in this panel.
????????? 7. This order has to be communicated to all the Institutions under the control of the officers noted in the despatch entry and to all those Medical Officers who are seniors to Dr.R.Ponnusamy, MS, GS., (CML No.2800/05) with proper dated acknowledgement.? It is also requested that if any Medical Officer mentioned in Annexure – I, has got transferred, is on long leave or if there is any correction in respect of qualifications, date of birth etc. the fact may be intimated to this Directorate without any delay, through the proper channel, for taking further action.
????????? 8. If any of the Medical Officers mentioned in Annexure-I have not passed the Departmental tests in Tamil Nadu Medical Code, Account Test for Executive officer or if their probation has not been declared, the fact may be intimated to this Directorate.
????????? 9. If any of the Medical Officers want to submit their appeal for inclusion in this panel, they may do so within 2 months from the date of this order, with all relevant facts, through proper channel for taking further action.
????????? 10. The officers noted in the dispatch entry are requested to obtain and forward appeal, if any, in the matter immediately.
