??????????? ??????????? After the 1st Phase of? counselling for MBBS/BDS Course for 2006-2007 held from 10-7-2006 to 17-7-2006, 65 vacancies in Government Medical Colleges, 2 in I.R.T. Perundurai Medical College and 12 in Tamilnadu Government Dental College have occurred due to not joining of the candidates.?? Three more additional seats for MBBS Course in I.R.T. Perundurai Medical College are offered to State Quota.? The Director General of Health Services have granted permission for the additional intake of? 40 seats for BDS Course in Tamilnadu Government Dental College for 2006-2007 session.

?The following Self-Financing Medical Institutions have agreed to surrender 65% (50% in the case of Minority Institutions) of the seats in MBBS Course to Government Quota for allotment under Single Window System as follows:-

1.P.S.G. Medical College, Coimbatore ???? ??????????????????????? -??????????? 65 seats

2.Chettinad Hospital and Research Institute, Padur??????????? -??????????? 97 seats

3.Sree Mookambigai Institute of Medical Sciences??????????? -??????????? 50 seats????

Counselling for reallotment to the vacancies which have arisen due to not joining of candidates in Government Medical Colleges will be held on 10-8-2006 for the already selected and willing candidates.? Subsequently, the counselling for the arising vacancies due to reallotment, additional seats in I.R.T. Perundurai Medical College, Tamilnadu Government Dental College and for the seats surrendered by the Self-Financing Medical Institutions will be held on 11-8-2006 and 12-8-2006.? Individual call letters will be sent to the candidates.? The fee structure, seat matrix and other details will be displayed at the time of counselling and will be available in the official website http://tnhealth.org.? More number of candidates are called for counselling than the number of seats available in Government/Self-Financing/I.R.T. Perundurai Medical Colleges and Tamilnadu Government Dental College.
