FOR INFORMATION TO P.G. DEGREE DIPLOMA / Five year M.Ch. (Neuro Surgery)/MDS – 2007-08 SESSION CANDIDATES

Instructions to candidates appearing for Re-allotment and Waitlist movement

??????????? The 2^nd phase of counselling will be held from 21-5-2006 to 25-5-2007.

The counselling will be held in the following manner:-

(1)?? Re-allotment counselling session

(2)?? Movement of waitlisted candidates

Eligibility :

Re-allotment:

??????????? Candidates should have joined the course selected during 1^st phase of counselling.? Candidates who have not joined / absented for the 1^st phase of counselling are not eligible for re-allotment.? Candidates who do not wish to appear for re-allotment need not attend the counselling and their original allotment will not be disturbed.

Method of allotment:

The selected candidates will be allowed to exercise their option to move from allotted college to any other college where seats of the same speciality are available, based on merit and communal reservation.? Candidates will be called specialitywise for
re-allotment.

For re-allotment, candidates should produce the following documents:

1.????? Copy of the allotment order issued during 1^st phase of counselling.

2.????? Copy of the receipt of the fees paid as proof of having joined the college.

??????????? On re-allotment, the allotment earlier made shall stand automatically cancelled and he / she shall have no claim whatsoever on the earlier allotment.

Wait-list movement:

??????????? Candidates who have opted for waitlist are eligible to participate in the 2^nd round of counselling.? Those who have absented / not joined are not eligible to attend the counselling.

??????????? After reallotment, the counselling session for movement of waitlisted candidates will be held.? Candidates will be allotted based on merit / community. In the event of candidates who studied MBBS in Universities other than Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University have to compulsorily produce Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University, Chennai, if not produced earlier for issue of allotment order.

Attending counselling session for re-allotment / waitlist movement does not confer any right to claim allotment of seat as the allotment will be made subject to the availability of seats at his / her turn.

??????????? After 2^nd phase of counselling, if seats are available, the seat matrix will be displayed in the website on 28.05.2007.? Counselling for these seats will be held on 29.05.2007 for those who have scored 40.00 marks and above following merit and rule of reservation wherever applicable for non-service waitlisted candidates.? Even after this counselling, if seats are still available, counselling will be held on 30.05.2007 for non-service candidates who have scored below 40.00 marks (OC candidates below 50.00 marks) following merit and rule of reservation.
