dear madam, this msg is to bring to your notice of few facts about CONTRACT DOCTORS. 1.contract doctors those who are working in villages for the past one year are not given preference for regular job even after they are selected for interview after a competitive exam. 2.they were treated in par in selection in TNPSC exam with those doctors preaparing for pg and those not working in PHCs. WHY SHOULD NOT BOTH EQUALLY TREATED? 1.doctors preparing for pg will be definetely score well in competitive exam because they have no other work other than preparing for exam. 2.but the contract doctors working for govt, wont have enough time for preparation,as you know that they have to cover all the PHC activities such as school health visits, field visits, implementing national health programmes,to answer the authorities and also govt was utilising them for disaster management in recent floods.there is no leave for contract doctor even a day before the exam. 3.contract doctors are voluntarily coming forward to work in villages when govt gave an offer. but doctors who are preparing for pg are not willing to accept govt's offer when they called for job because they dont want to work in villages. THE QUESTIONS ARISING FROM CONTRACT DOCTORS MIND ARE; 1.when govt is not doing any favour for the people those who are serving for the govt and accepting govt policy, how can they work? why should they work? 2.how can a doctor who is not willing to work in villages when govt is giving an easy oppurtunity, will work properly in the same job just because he was selected through TNPSC? 3.how can a doctor will come to work in village when those already working in villages are not treated properly? SO PLEASE CONSIDER THE CONTRACT DOCTORS for regularisation by a seperate TNPSC SELECTION BECAUSE THEY ARE WILLING TO WORK IN VILLAGES AND WORKING FOR THE GOVT ALREADY IN THE SAME JOB.Thanking you.
