| Message : | The contract doctors are proving to be a nuisance to everyone 1. The 2000 Batch, which is finishing the PG this year are not able to get posting to DME/DMS in native districts because of the Contract doctors (with MBBS) working as assistants in Medical colleges where as MD Paed and MD Radio are likely to be posted in GH Gummidipundi and PHC Guduvancheri 2. The 2003 Regular Batch is not able to get Transfer. Of course few got transfer in March 2005, but those who did not get a place are suffering for 2 and half years where as the Lazy contract are enjoying Life 3. The 2003 Waitlist candidates who were posted without councelling to Nilgris are suffering there, where as the contract come to PHCs 2 days a week, stay from 10 to 12 and are happy with their practise 4. The 2005 Selected candidates are likely to be posted in Remote PHCs and remote Districts 5. The 2005 With-held candidates are NOT LIKELY to be posted for 2 to 3 years 6. The 2005 Waitlist candidates will not get a job. It is really pathetic to prepare for TNPSC, get into orals (where Contract doctors were given 30) and then miss the selection by 1 or 2 marks and then being denied a job, where as a contract doctor WHO SIGNED AN AGREEMENT THAT HIS CONTRACT PERIOD IS TILL THE REGULAR TNPSC SELECTED DOCTOR JOINS now shamelessly and cowardly and illegally and immorally asks for back door entry into service It is high time all the groups mentioned above unite and ask the government to conduct regular release and transfer councelling and then POST ALL THE CANDIDATES IN THE SELECTION AND WAIT LIST and immediately terminate the contract The contract was for the period when there was no doctors. Now doctors are selected There is a large 1295 waiting list That doctors who cleared TNPSC should be given posting and not the contract idiots |
