Message : Excellent view my dear friend. I support your ideas. I do agree with your view point. We all know the pathetic story of our teaching institutions and the head of the depts and other professors there in.Any one who happens to know them would tell you their competency. No wonder a class institution like MMC has gone down the drain. There are very few surgeons and physicians in govt service who are worthy of their position ( may be 10 % ) and nothing more.
To improve the quality of medical care- the society should do the following.
1.MBBS degrees are givenonly on merit.
2.No service non service sc/st/mbc/bc quota
3.Make even the undergraduation more attractive with stipends so that people dont think of money when they study- remember none in the society spends so much time in front of books like medicos.
4.All free seats-if pvt.medical collegs want to remain-ask them to charge the fee from the patients- no capitation money and no feesfor students.the course should be absolutely free so that students are obtained only on strict merit and nothing else. They shouldnt have loan in the bank at the end of the course for them not to become commercial minded. Dont be like fools talk about commercialisation of medical field when you have commecialised medical education.
4.Medical teachers should be appointed based on merit again and not based on seniority. They should be given the best offers so that they impart the best in return to the society. ( now a days even if u keep a donkey in the list, he or she becomes a prof over a period. )
5.Govt doctors must be paid more than the private docs. then they wont steal patients and wont go away soon.
And many such things. lets see.
Do comment about my suggestions guys. Take this debate further.

***---REPLIED TO MESSAGE BELOW---***
dear collegues, let us think why should there be seperate quota for service candidates? so called service people after completing pg do the following services 1. leave the hospital during duty hours 2. collecting fees even in G.H 3. Abducting patients to their clinic 4.addmiting their own patients in gh do investigations at cheaper rate and collecting bribes due to service quota brillant students cant enter pg .Those low mark service candidates enter pg then teaching side they are the future professors! what a pathetic suition so people think file case not to permit service canditates in private quota seats WAKE UP GUYS
