Message : Dear Friends, This is just as a general information. Some colleagues and myself attended the hearing inthe high court for the vacation of the stay order on counselling for DM/MCh seats. The presiding judge concluded that the validity of rural quota marks used to give weightage within the service quota (as per supreme court ruling in 2003) cannot be questioned. An order to this effect vacating the stay order, most probably, will be passed on Wed/Thu. If so, we can expect the counselling to be conducted either by the end of this week or early next week. Pls remember that this message is only of an advisory nature.
